I use photography as a form of artistic expression, focusing on natural and artificial structures.
I am working primarliy with analogue photography and cyanotype. My practice explores questions of visibility, power, and the ways in which images can reflect and challenge structures.
The project “Visibility can be a Regulatory act” transforms black-and-white photographs of natural and artificial structures into cyanotypes, where exposure to light determines what turns blue and what remains white. Informed by a legal feminist perspective, the work examines visibility not as something given, but as something that can be constructed, regulated, and withheld through social, political, and legal structures.
